MUJULIMA is a collaborative research project with experts from nine European universities, companies and organisations with the aim to develop innovative materials for efficient, stable and cheap organic photovoltaic cells that will ensure cost effective production and commercialization.

What’s in a name?
The project’s full title is: "Innovative Materials for Multiple Junction OPVs and for Improved Light Management". The project acronym is MUJULIMA. These letters are an abbreviation of the project’s full name: Innovative Materials for Multiple Junction OPVs and for Improved Light Management.
Research results
Research results will be presented and published in the course of the project at various occasions. These publications will be posted on this website.
EU-funded research project
Funded through the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7-NMP-2013), the MUJULIMA project has officially launched on January 1st, 2014 and will run for 3 years (until December 31st, 2016).
Partners
The project partners all have a strong background in the research and development of OPVs. Project coordinator is research institute TNO/Holst Centre.
To achieve its objectives, MUJULIMA will combine existing state-of-the-art capabilities of the partners - strong competence from material formulation and development to testing, integration and demonstration - and develop these to a degree where market entry products can be realized by the end-user.
